Well, I was waiting for someone to do this, so I will...

I thought that one of you guys would have posted some pictures of all the fall colors, or white on the tips of the trees to make me jealous; but I waited and waited and got nothing, so I thought I would show you we have leaves that change color too.

And leaves that fall and leave the trees bare.

We even have some trees with white; this is our new orange tree and the blossoms smell GREAT!!!

And some more.. sorry!!!!

Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch

I thought these looked like miniature pumpkins growing on this plant so I called it the Halloween plant.

They are actually Habanero Peppers

Unbelivable!

A couple of weeks ago we saw that the strawberries had become too thick to produce future berries. So I dug them all up.
This is what came out of that small area. Then I pulled out the old trusty John Deere and cultivated the area.

I replanted and spaced the plants all the way down that side fence.

This is the amount of leftover plants, plus I have taken 60 to 70 to I guy at work. In addition, Joey and Sujin took 20 or so, one neighbor took some and I have 50 pots around the place with new plants. I couldn't believe how many new plants that they have produced. ( Then to remember that this all started from TWO plants that we received in May of 2008!!!)

So what takes its place?

So to help me stay busy with the summer garden being done, here are some shots of our winter garden. This is a volunteer tomato plant that came up at the side of the house that is loaded with tomatoes.

The lettuce

The spinach

The carrots and beets

And last but not least, there will be more to come: Cabbage, Broccoli and Cauliflower

Fall Has Come

Yes, like everywhere, fall has came. So today I took out the green beans (Not sure why, but Mom did a dance and was cheering.)
I think it was a little too much for the garbage can but when I got done, it did all fit.
