Happy Birthday

Here I am at two weeks with my best friend!

By one they had me herding cows(now if I could just remember where they are)

2nd birthday and all I got was this Balloon( I loved balloons)

They made me work so hard I had to sneak in some sleep any time I could.

I was a soccer star.

Coutinued Birthday

I told you they worked me so hard I could sleep any where any time.

I think I found a live Carrier I could like.

I almost caught the ball,(actually I was breaking up there pass.)

They called me the left handed ACE,(notice the famous Beck tongue)

I loved them back flops.

And the date was...

Well, I came home today and discovered that the first bean stalk had reached the top of my frame at 68 inchs and still growing.

And there will be two more by tomorrow or so. So whoever guessed the 5th, got it.

Another one of my crazy ideas

So I had this idea to make my own fire pit that would work in a couple different ways on the back patio. Joe got me an old semi wheel; I got the rust off, then painted it and built the box to hold it. There are bricks in the box to keep the heat off the wood.

Works well to cook with the dutch oven. (We had one Sunday.)

Then I got some rods from Home Depot and a couple of limbs from the area behind Oxnard College and built these.

They work well with the pit for making Somores!!!

We also went to the Bluffs: the next three pictures show the scenery.

Saturday's Trip

We spent the day in Carpenteria; this is on the beach.
