The vist
After St. George weekend the Platt's came to California for the week.
We fed the ducks,
went to the beach with the family,
and trick or treating with the cousins.
Then came home and handed out candy. Did I mention picked and ate strawberries every day.
other activties
I also got a little work out of KP while he was here; had him help dig a couple holes in the backyard.
We planted two new trees: a pomegranate and a mango tree
Made a vist to the Tractor store
Ready to mow the grass
Taking grandpa for a ride in the gator; were off to the football game
He helped me plow up and plant the planter boxes
Watered the new cabage plants
And spent a little extra time playing in the dirt. It was a fun week. Thank you Platts for coming down

Continued
We were able to see four trutles at Paradise Cove
This guy would crawl up on the rocks and tip over in a crack and then hsve to wait for the water to wash him out.
These pockets in the rocks would fill with water then the water would then evaporate and leave the salt in the bottom
Joe and Sujin at the Polynesian Cultural Center
Watching the demonstration on how to make fire in Somoa.
Over looking Waikiki
Light house and more salt craters; these are at Makapu'u Lookout

We went out to the Dole Plantation
Learned how pineapples were grown; best part but I didn't put up the picture is that I found out that they have John Deere's there. (I did send a picture to KP)
For Marie we enjoyed a pineapple ice cream sundae.
This was just some of the pine trees and Bamboo along the side of the road.
Hiking into and the Maunawila Falls
