Well, I finally got it done.

Well I don't know if it cause I didn't have all that good help that I use to or what (maybe I'm just getting old and lazy) but anyhow, I finally got the old lights up on the house one more time Saturday night.
Mom, Kylie and Jeff got the tree up Friday (and yes, it came from Home Depot)

Just as we finished the lights we had a special visitor at the park.

I just liked the old fire truck, so had to include it.

More white trees

These are buds on the Grapefruit tree; you can't believe how big they are!

These are the blossoms and they have a great smell.

Halloween is not just for kids!!!!!!

This is what I wore to work; got lots of laughs

Well, I was waiting for someone to do this, so I will...

I thought that one of you guys would have posted some pictures of all the fall colors, or white on the tips of the trees to make me jealous; but I waited and waited and got nothing, so I thought I would show you we have leaves that change color too.

And leaves that fall and leave the trees bare.

We even have some trees with white; this is our new orange tree and the blossoms smell GREAT!!!

And some more.. sorry!!!!

Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch

I thought these looked like miniature pumpkins growing on this plant so I called it the Halloween plant.

They are actually Habanero Peppers

Unbelivable!

A couple of weeks ago we saw that the strawberries had become too thick to produce future berries. So I dug them all up.
This is what came out of that small area. Then I pulled out the old trusty John Deere and cultivated the area.

I replanted and spaced the plants all the way down that side fence.

This is the amount of leftover plants, plus I have taken 60 to 70 to I guy at work. In addition, Joey and Sujin took 20 or so, one neighbor took some and I have 50 pots around the place with new plants. I couldn't believe how many new plants that they have produced. ( Then to remember that this all started from TWO plants that we received in May of 2008!!!)

Continue the birthday wish

Everyone seemed to enjoy the pictures on the last blog so here are a few new ones of the birthday girl; bath time-YUM-love that washcloth.
A visit to the cold and snow at Grandma Mike's in St. Charles with Mom and Dad.

Me, holding my brother Lloyd, and letting him know who the boss of the house is at an early age.

Isn't she cute!!!

My new hair cut (don't I look so mature).
Enjoy the pictures and once again Happy Birthday!!
