A Milestone
When I was coming home from work Wednesday, the 23rd, my Caliber turned over 100,000 miles. (That's a lot of road time.) Marie, I stopped on the side of the road to take the picture this time.

Happy Birthday
Me, testing out Grandpa's hold.
In my bath and yes, everything went in my mouth.

Enjoying a day outside. I love these flowers
(then found out they're really just weeds)
Saying good-bye at Aunt Audry's.
Loving the free spirit of the wind blowing through my hair.
I could go so fast.
Yes, here's proof that I had to do choirs ( Bringing in fire wood)
Learning how to ride a sleigh
( maybe that's why I enjoy the winter so much)
Four generations of woman.
The trouble my older brother got me into.
My siblings and I in front of the house in 1986.
I was showing the older guys how to show their prize winning calf at the county fair

A couple more of the Islands since they could be seen so well.
Saturday's Fun Time
So we were out doing our Saturday garage sales and it got pretty warm so we headed to the beach. This is the machine that is dredging Channel Islands Harbor. On the front under the boom there is a big auger that digs up the sand in the bottom of the harbor; then it is pumped thru the boat and into a 2 foot diameter pipe.
This is the pipe as it heads across the Harbor
Then it comes up and across the Silver Strand Beach
So we set out to follow it
Then this is where it was discharged half way down Silver Strand Beach
Actually last week we followed it and it went all the way to Hueneme Beach; this was the discharge there
